RECOGNIZED KNOWLEDGE

Research Focus Areas

Research in strategic communication as it applies to development, corporate, organisational, health, planetary health, environment, climate change or other social spheres in Africa has been tentative at best. Much of it has been driven by immediate needs, often centred around Non-State actors and a reflexive response to emergencies. The Afriscom Institute pursues rigorous, interdisciplinary inquiry across several interconnected research clusters. **Click on any area to view details.**

ANNUAL PUBLICATION

Journal of Communication

The Institute will publish two issues of the Journal of Communication annually, providing a peer-reviewed home for advanced scholarship rooted in the continent's communicative realities.
